This is vibrant and expressive piece. Rainbow gums are inspired by the strength and flexibility of required to endure through the difficult times. The multi colour bark brings a strong sense of movement and emotion to the forest scene. The background sky shifts from warm peach tones near the horizon to  a clear, bright blue above, giving the sense of depth and tranquility.

Reflections in the water and the lush ground textures suggest a spring or summer wetland or forested area. I've used bold colour contrasts, especially bright oranges, greens and purples to add dynamic, almost abstract energy to the scene. An interesting and dynamic piece for your chosen location.
